April came in like a howling hurricane... Starting with my body's rebellion being more than one of my gastritis episodes. It lasted all week, I'm still having issues. It hasn’t been good for my writing, but I still managed to get the preorders sent out yesterday!
Author's Life:
This week has been a lot of resting and trying to figure out how to work around what’s been going on with my body. From the seemingly random abdominal pain to the strange spots that sometimes itch, and the random need to rush to the bathroom. It’s been hard to concentrate. I finally broke down and called the doctor on Wednesday. I have an appointment on Monday, which is a miracle and a half, because they almost had to schedule me for the 27th... Despite all of that nonesense, I did manage to get a few things done work-wise.
The work Life:
Writing:
I didn’t get a lot of writing done, because of the new illness. Last week, Kalista book 7 was at 63,581 words and it is now at 66,246 which is just under 3,000 words. Ugh.
Editing:
I read through Chaos Theory one last time and making a few edits. Bad News, I didn’t get it done in time to submit to KDP because it’s locked until after it’s published on the ninth. The eBook, however, is completely done, and uploaded to the websites.
Maxine is still on chunk 2 of 4 for An Angel Falls! I’m hoping she’ll send it to me this weekend.
Publishing:
Signed Copy Pre Orders of Chaos Theory are still available to order until Tuesday Night, then the T-shirt will go into the vault. So get the box or the Chaos Label tee before it's too late!
This is the LAST time I'm making Tee shirts too. They're expensive to make and to ship with the book, so I'm no longer going to have them in the boxes. No more Hoodies will be in boxes either... (see more about that in a business announcement blog)

A brief announcement/memo:
I have decided to change the price of eBooks on Amazon to $3.99. They will stay $2.99 on my website and itch.io, but I’m also going to make them $3.99 on those above as well. This comes from months of thinking and talking with other authors about their eBook prices and experiences.
Art Feature:
This week, we’re adding to the comic. 😉 I hope you’re enjoying it, because it’s a lot of work, but I love it. If you’re not pre ordered it yet, YOU NEED TO! It’s my favorite yet… and yes, there is explicit sex scenes, gore, and violence, but there is also a compelling plot, plus sweet tender romance with some cheesy romcom lines. It’s a good mix of everything that makes books enjoyable.
