September took off like a runner from the starting line. This week’s blog is coming a bit late. I was the Matron of Honor in a wedding this weekend, so the week has been unproductive… At least in writing, publishing, and so forth.
Author's Life
I left home on Friday Morning at 1 a.m. and won’t be home again until Wednesday early in the morning. But the week up until then was busy. I spent Monday at my grandparents’ house for a Labour day picnic, then I got sick that night, and Tuesday recovering before running errands on Wednesday. And Saturday I had the immense privilege of being in my Best Friend, AJ's wedding. I got to meet his wife-to-be, Alivia and became fast friends with her back in April. The wedding was intimate but beautiful and I enjoyed being the Matron of Honour.
Writing & Editing:
I haven’t done very much in the way of writing or editing. I’ve done no writing, but I have edited up to chapter twenty-six of Cry Havoc and I have the proof copy of the Christmas book, which I just started editing last night.
Publishing:
Old business:
The last of the boxes are going out on Wednesday when I get home. I was trying my best to get them out before I left, but that didn’t work.
Current Business:
As of this blog, the betas now have chunk 6 for Broken Redeemer and half of them have finished. The ones who have finished are waiting, some impatiently, for the next book, which will start Reading on October 14.

This picture was a request from one of the Beta readers, she wanted to see the scene where Kalista sees the glowing marks on her Angeliki (her Angelic form) after her righteous anger ignites. It comes from chapter 30 of A Broken Redeemer. That's all I'm gonna say about this picture ;)
