Another week has flown by! I’m happy to say that I’ve been quite productive this
week in getting An Angel Ensnared ready for pre-order. I also need to apologize…
Author's Life:
This week was productive in all the things that I got accomplished for the Book Box Preorder of An Angel Ensnared. I also need to apologize, because I kept saying that the pre-order would be in September, I was wrong. The Book Box Preorder will launch August 17th (for those who read the newsletter) and end September 24th so I can have time to get all the books ordered, packed, and shipped out the week before again.
Besides preorder prep, I didn’t do much beyond that… It was a nice quiet week at home, until yesterday which was errand day, and then I got asked to babysit last night out of the blue. (fun fact: I wrote half this blog while the baby was sleeping. 😉) On Thursday, I also got to help my Favorite Singer/Songwriter Beth Crowley with the Cover Reveal of her book “The Have Not” and I may get to ARC read it too! I’ll have more about that in the “Other bookish news” section after the Publishing section.

I finished the read through of An Angel Ensnared on Sunday night, then Matt and I got all 3 formats up and ready for publishing on Monday, though I did change one part of the book, so we got it fixed and resubmitted on Wednesday Night.
Writing
I have (as of publishing this) written 1,774 words in An Angel Falls bringing it up to 28,050 words. I did not finish the Greek Goddess Anthology story yet… Just need to set like one day to do that this week as it’s due on September 1st for first round edits.
With the Editors:
Maxine still has the 1st section of Chaos Theory… and she’s been busy with taking her crafting business stuff to conventions and things.
Matt finished a Broken Redeemer last Saturday night! And as of Tuesday night…
Publishing:
All the revised editions of the books are now available everywhere! From Amazon to Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Hoopla, etc. AND An Angel Ensnared is now available for preorder on all those sites too!!

“Where Myths Walk”, my very first anthology release, will be on sale, through amazon from September 30th and December 31st. 11 self-published authors (including me) have each written a short story about a mythical creature. All proceeds for this book will go to the Wounded Warriors Project!

It was enough that Stella knew who he’d been talking to. I don’t know what I’d done to make her hate me, but it was evident that she did, and I didn’t mind it in the least. She wasn’t worth my time.
Art Feature:
This is the art for the Hoodie/Tee shirt. It will be on the back of the hoodie and the front of the Tee. The back of the Tee will have a list of Kalista Chronicles books, like there was on the Cry Havoc and Discord’s Nightmare Shirts. Now, you will note that the wording is placed different for the Tee than the Hoodie. This is because if you have the hood down, it tends to cover up the writing when placed at the top. Plus I don't want to put art down near the bottom of a Tee shirt... for reasons.
This art is called "the Sleuths in the Shipyard" and features Kalista and Forseti. Yep, he's making a cameo in the next few Kalista books. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I realized this week, that I have been missing out on a golden opportunity to sell some merch via Amazon! I'm going to start selling Notebooks, they are 100 double sided pages, 8x11, wide ruled, and feature Characters from the BAU, some of the Chibis that I've drawn, or book covers.
This week I dropped one of the Deadly Sirens. When An Angel Ensnared comes out there will be one with Kalista on it... which will also come in the pre-order box.
