The stress of pre orders finally got to me… that and my “manager” playing a video game that I had, but hadn’t played… So, I decided to take some much needed R&R away from writing and have a bit of fun. Read more below.
Author's Life:
From Wednesday to Friday, I had some much needed R&R. I’ve been stressed out with not only pre orders, but my knee acting up again, and my head the last few days. I don’t know if the vertigo/spinning feeling is from the adult recreation our neighbors do (which I’m allergic to) drifting to our side of the apartments or if there’s some weather-ish going on, but it’s been rough with my sinuses the last week.
Instead of finished the rewrite and An Angel Falls, I allowed myself the time to relax and enjoy one of my favorite things: RP Gaming. I played and finished Jedi Fallen Order in 22 hours. It was a good game and reminded me of a cross between Legend of Zelda (which I enjoy) and Tomb Raider (meh) but “Make it Star Wars.” I’m thinking about playing through the sequel Jedi Survivors too before getting back into writing. We’ll see what the weekend has in store. Now for the rest of the update.

This week, I wrote 0 words… Okay, that’s not true. I did delete a few thousand words and rewrote them. I am now up to chapter 14 of 22 for the Angel Falls (current WIP) rewrite.
With the Editors:
Maxine is now on section 4 of Chaos Theory as of my writing this.
Publishing:

“In your dreams, Ak’Chada,” I spat back throwing energy into the shield. It buzzed and rippled as he cried out in pain. “I will never be yours!”

Art Feature:
I did 2 pictures this week, but the first was from An Angel Falls. This one is from a scene in An Angel Ensnared where Kalista has a talk with her father, Lucifer. I’ve included a snippet below. It comes from chapter 18:

“Maker’s Love and Light,” I said and teleported to the two-seater chair. I plopped onto it and stared at the chandelier in the foyer.
My father appeared on the coffee table in front of me and set his hand on my knee. That was more for his comfort than mine. I met his eyes and set my phone face down on the arm of the chair.
“The Ak’Chada is luring girls into his harem through Angelic power then killing them when they’ve served their purpose,” I said flat, no sugar-coating. He pulled his hand back and his eyes glowed.
“I specifically told you not to look into this,” he started, and Beryx stepped in like he promised he would.
“She hasn’t been, Lou...”
